What was nice about this motel was the quaint, retro feel of the property. It was affordable, located directly on the beach, and had a certain old-fashioned charm. While the accommodations were clearly dated, everything was reasonably clean and tidy. What I did not like was the behavior of some of the neighboring guests. They spent much of the day and evening partying and smoking directly outside our door. Although the motel enforced a 10:00 p.m. curfew and the outdoor activity largely stopped at that time, we were still subjected to cigarette and marijuana smoke, loud voices, drunken behavior, and bottles left around the property. Unfortunately, the staff seemed unable to effectively address the situation during our stay. As a result, the three nights we spent there were far less relaxing than we had hoped. While the location and price were appealing, the overall experience was disappointing, and we will not be returning.

Housekeeper was the loveliest person, I had such pleasant interactions with her both days I was there. It was my first time staying at this hotel but she made me feel like I was a regular, like I was family. That really made the stay special. Beachfront view was magical.
