“Beautiful setting, Staff friendly and very helpful. Room was charming. Plenty of parking.
We had underfloor heating and found the room too hot through the night and bed a little to hard for me. If looking for hairdryer ours was positioned behind the curtain and unable to find it when I needed it.”

“There was plenty room to park and the staff were welcoming and polite.
Having booked a superior room we were disappointed that we had been allocated an attic bedroom with a small very window. Although the room itself was quite large the plaster and paint work was in need of some restoration.
With regards to breakfast, it was ‘over complicated’ it would have been much easier to have a menu and then choose what you want at the table. The food itself self was too fancy just serve good quality...

“Once I got my head past the idea that ‘this is not a Marriott’ I came to realize this is a great hotel.
Room was comfortable. I was able to park right outside the hotel front door every night. Breakfast was good. The bar area is well presented with a good mix of locals and tourists to talk to.
Room attended to daily.
The local town is very pleasant. Some great coffee shops and pubs.”
