Property needs a lot of cleaning and updates. The pool and spa had a sign from the Nebraska department of health shutting it down until further notice due to violations. I don't expect much from a hotel breakfast, but it was pretty terrible. And the trash was overflowing. They were out of coffee by 7:00. A.m.. I told the staff and nobody refilled it. The room was reasonably clean so if you just want a place to sleep for the night it will suffice. Nothing more.

The hotel was old, run down, poorly maintained and dimly lit. The drapes did not keep the outside lights out so the room was too light for sleeping. We were on the first floor which was noisy. The bathroom was tiny. The water pressure in the shower was good. The bed was comfy, but we questioned the cleanliness of the bedding. The breakfast area was unappealing & the small refrigerator temp was 45 degrees & had an open gallon of milk in it. We opted to go out for breakfast instead. Would not recommend this hotel and felt that we totally overpaid for our stay.

We spent one night here. We used the pool and hot tub. While 3 of us were in the hot tub there was a nearby lightning strike that actually shocked *literally* all 3 people. Immediately exited the hot tub and notified the staff..they didn’t appear to understand what happened..maybe a language barrier issue?..but did not feel safe to continue using hot tub. There were others in our party in the pool at the same time and they felt nothing..so must be something not right with the hot tub electrical or something. Other than that the room was decent and beds reasonably comfortable. We did not eat breakfast as we left very early being we had a VERY long drive ahead of us that day.
