We needed a quick place to stay while at a wedding. The only thing we noticed was a stuffy smell where it’s older, but with the windows open it went away and was a wonderful stay. The room itself was super clean and comfortable.

I booked this motel very last minute and checked in around 7:30pm. The throw on the bed was dirty. There was a long black hair on one of the pillows and the towels were dirty in the bathroom. I did a week’s road trip around New England and this was the worst motel I stayed in and for $100 for the night it wasn’t exactly cheap. However it was easy to find and parking was ample.

Convenient location & generously $ historic inn

Property itself is very historic but they offered us a very nice renovated room. No complain about room. If they can add a coffee maker at least in each room, it will be nicer. Convenient location to the down town, nice Mexican restaurant and shopping near by. We will be back. Thank you.

This is the worst place i’ve ever stayed. I wish i could post the pictures i took of the stained towel and bed sheets to this review. Why didnt i complain? There was no one around, when i was coming and going to work. I was told that the hotel had been refurbished recently. I would say new carpet in the hallway, tiles in the bedroom. A new sink and toilet. But everything else was old. Do not stay at this location. I can forgive old but not clean.

Our room was semi clean, but we found things like hairs in the shower and crumbs or something on the floor, and the sheets could have used some bleach or replacement. It was not special, just a place to sleep. The person there to check us in didn’t know we were coming because we made the reservation same day. She didn’t know how to use the computer, so it took a very long time (over a half hour) for her to get ahold of someone who said yes we were in the system and all set. We had to carry our luggage up stairs-there were not ground level doors.

Would Skip in the Future

We needed a last-minute, one-night stay, and this inn had an available room. The hallways smelled of cigarette smoke, the bathroom drains, both tub and sink, didn't drain properly, and the AC unit ran so loud it was hard to sleep through. I would do what I could not to stay here again.

The only positive is that they allowed early check in. We dropped our bags and headed out with concern for our choice. The floor had food crumbs on it, the refrigerator did not seal, sink drained poorly, and AC was moderately cooling. When we returned for the night there were people nodding off in a car in the parking lot and a man slumped on the front stoop. There was a Bobby pin I. The bed and stained pillow cases when bedding was pulled down. We reported our dissatisfaction and left with the attendant giving my husband the finger. Expedia requested a refund for us and the host declined.
