“The property is easy to reach via various buses; despite its distance from the city centre (ca 12 stops). Friendly and competent staff. A good number of dining options and a couple of supermarkets (Waitrose, Sainsbury) within ca 10-15 min walking distance. The room is small but clean and quite cozy, with a kettle, instant coffee, and tea bags. Very good option for budge travel to Oxford.”

“Justo antes de viajar estalló la alerta sanitaria, la hecatombe del Covid-19 y les pedí por favor que cancelasen mi reserva pues no iba a viajar por responsabilidad dado el riesgo de expansión de la enfermedad, pues aun estaba abierto el espacio aéreo y podría haber ido. No solo no me han devuelto un céntimo, no me han cancelado la reserva sino que ni siquiera me han contestado. Pésimos.”

“We stayed in one of the rooms next to the property met eventually by a lady whos English was not brilliant but pleasant, microwave in entrance to our room with piles of leaflets next to it definitely a safety issue, mismatch furniture cobwebs light switches dirty, bathroom mats tatty, sink plug not attached to chain, no pull cord for the toilet only the chain . lots of cables connected to extension leads. Breakfast plates cold food warm, no teapot only mug with teabag in it individual honey...

“Location is very good. Parking place is a huge open space. Check in was perfect. Help with a need was excellent. Breakfast was not a happy end. Otherwise it was very good place.”

“Staff were lovely and very helpful. There was free parking on site, which was a bonus. Breakfast was very good and plentiful including, eggs however you like them, ham and cheese, yoghurt, fruit, cereal, toast and jam, croissants and pain au chocolate. Very nice. Lovely big breakfast room with a view over the garden.”

“This pub is a really well looked after and the rooms are super comfortable... lovely bed, large rooms... The breakfast is top quality and a great comfortable experience... The only things to note are, it is not as close to Henley as I thought, it was about 4-5 miles away and there is NO mobile reception in the pub or the rooms... if you need to make or receive any calls, you have to walk around the car park or the village for a reception...! Apart from that, I would definately go back and stay,...

“The staff who were present were helpful. The room was big and well appointed. The breakfast was generous and good. However, I was unable for a time to see how to get hot water in the shower. Also the TV remote was not responding. I asked the wait staff several times for assistance. They said they called the manager who was on her way. She never appeared. I finally figured out the shower issue. One of the wait staff came up to check the remote. He said all the remotes were old and did not work...
