Do not stay here (especially on the first floor) if you'd like to get a good night's sleep. It was so loud outside and in the hotel hallway that I could hear literal conversations. We didn't sleep a wink and it ruined our following day in NYC. They need to warn you about this on their website. I also asked for extra blankets twice because it was cold and twice the person at the desk said he would get blankets and he never did. I do a lot of travelling for a living and this was by far the worst experience, especially the fact that they did not acknowledge our concerns and requests.

Fabulous location and reasonably priced for a NYC hotel. However, other than the super-clean bathroom, room itself was not very appealing. Two windows and one was blocked by an A/C while the other opened into a shaft that was frequented by pigeons. If we wanted fresh air, we had to listen to birds cooing all night and a windowsill littered with feathers (there was no screen). There is no coffeemaker in the room or any other amenities. Basically, a place to crash for the night.

The room was clean and large for nyc. The bathroom was on the brink of needing to be refreshed. The door to the room did not close without slamming it.

The location of the hotel is very convenient for first-time visitors to New York, as it is close to many of the main attractions in Manhattan and the Port Authority Bus Terminal, where you can catch the subway. During our stay, the staff were very helpful and friendly. My only complaint is about the AC in the room, which made quite a loud noise during the night and sometimes woke me up.
