Wow!! What a beautiful Lodge! The room is huge and views are amazing! It was super clean and so cozy! Loved the coffee maker and the decoration! Your own patio invites for a beautiful night right at the river. Things I would have liked to know before: There is no service! The wifi is okay but we lost it sometimes. No big deal, just good to know! Any kind of restaurant/pub/bar close by is closed Mondays and Tuesdays and we stayed on a Monday night. I would have asked for a room upstairs as we heard people walking above us until late at night and early in the morning which interrupted our sleep a bit. No big deal though! We loved our stay!

I would give our stay a 10 for both the room and the surrounding views! Check in was a smooth easy process given our late arrival. Especially enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the river and weather show. Will keep this one on our list for future stays.

Wish I was staying longer

A hidden gem I wished I was staying longer. The owners were very kind and responsive. Room was clean and presented well. Location is amazing. I will be back for sure!

So much charm on the Salmon River

Absolutely beautiful! Right on the Salmon River! Our deck which was almost over the river had a lovely table and chairs complete with a candle and matches. The room was large, very nicely decorated and full of charm. A wonderful overnight stay before our drive to Sun Valley!

Quiet peaceful clean stay

Very peaceful overlooking the River. very clean, quiet place to stay. Customer service was excellent- communication. Not very many restaurant choices near by- we ate about five miles north and food was excellent pizza, burgers and fish and chips. Only rec would b taller shower head and taller chairs on balcony. Everything else perfect.

Unique stay on the Salmon River

This is a small, clean facility directly on the Salmon River. Rooms have either a patio or balcony directly onto the river. The building is a log cabin construction. The rooms are pretty large and in good shape. There is no breakfast, but a 100-yard walk to a general store provided a great breakfast burrito. The store is a really good outdoor supplier also. There is no staffed front desk, so check-in is a bit unique. Make sure you have instructions via text or email before arriving, as there is no cell service. There is really good WiFi once you are checked in. My wife (who loves mountains) said this was one of her favorite places to stay.

Every room has GORGEOUS views of the river from its shared back porch. Room was also spacious and thoughtfully equipped with a larger mini fridge, microwave, and Keurig. I appreciated that the toiletries weren't single-use and were of high quality. Some aspects of the facilities were dated, but everything was clean. I could hear the people upstairs from me, and the A/C unit for the room next to me ran continuously overnight even though I believe the room was empty. Otherwise, a quiet and peaceful stay. They do warn you about lack of nearby food options and they are not kidding! I wouldn't even rely on the General Store next door, unless eating chili from a can is your idea of a good meal. (I would plan on getting some ice cream from them, though!) While the views are amazing, there really isn't anywhere to walk. This was my rest day, so I didn't mind too much -- but if you are someone who likes to wander or stretch their legs, you'll feel a bit trapped.

Super remote, no one on site, general store closes at 6. Room had coffee which was nice and the location on the river is pretty. But be prepared to be on your own for food and service during your stay.
