The ambiance is fantastic! Super cute, clean and convenient location...totally worth the cost! Zero complaints and absolutely recommend...however, if you are a smoker you can not smoke on the front porch/property! Do not think "front porch" is smoke friendly...it is not!

Weekend trip

Went on a last minute trip with my husband abd dog. Communication with the owners was super easy. The rooms were newly remodeled and very comfy and stylish. Great location close to town. Will definitely stay again!

Little gem with convenient location.

Our stay was great! We had an easy check-in, and the location was very convenient. We hiked right out the back of the property and found some biking trails not too far away. Lots of helpful resources in the common area, and enjoyed hanging out on our "little porch" each evening.

The Starlight lodge was a very clean, comfortable and cute motel. The room was very tastily decorated and comfortable. It was all hands off from the staff, but they made it all very easy. Access to the office and coffee was easy and options were great. No complaints and would definitely recommend this as a place for anyone staying in the area. Loved all the options for sitting out and enjoying the outdoors.

We were looking for a pet friendly hotel and the room was very spacious for us to have our two dogs. Having a refrigerator/freezer in the room was an added bonus. The beds were nice and comfortable. The back of the hotel is beautiful with area for the dogs to go. Access to one of the hiking areas was an added bonus. Only thing to complain about was the bathroom was a little small, but it filled our needs. Also, the AC worked, but looked to be a 5000 BTU model and the room really needs something like 10,000 BTU or higher to keep it cool.

We liked the quaint room interior. However, the bathroom was extremely small and there was no place to put your notions, i.e., toothpaste and toothbrushes, deodorant, hairbrush, etc. There was room in the bathroom to put a shelf above the toilet and perhaps they could turn the toilet at an angle so there is room for your knees when sitting.

Our room was very nice and clean. Parking was great. Our room was open and ready for 3:00 when we showed up. Check in was very easy as our room was unlocked for us. a handy binder was in the room with property information, the code for our room, restaurants, etc. We encountered a staff member twice during our stay and she was very pleasant and helpful. The office was very cozy looking and accessible after hours. There was complementary coffee, tea, hot chocolate and bags of ice. Snacks were also available for a fee. Besides the bed being on the firm side (my husband and I prefer a plush mattress), we had a great stay!
