Owner was cordial and helpful. Amenities could be better but ok for the rating. Book shelf as opposed to a dresser, repair or replace towel bar in the bathroom. Bed was excellent, clean and very comfortable.

I didn’t like that no one was there to actually check me in and my room was unlocked. The bed was ok, I never used the tub . I also hated that I had to put my garbage in the dempster. It was gross . But the price was right

The room was generally ok, and the bed was fine. There was one short hair in the bed, which gives one pause, but I couldn't find more. The bathroom was another matter however, prompting this 'terrible' rating. There were about 5 hairs in various locations, so clearly the bathroom floor had not been cleaned. There was only 1/3 of a toilet paper roll and no spare, and no other tissues provided. I did check in late, but regardless, the room(s) need to be ready! The condition of the shower stall is very poor. Discoloureation and a little black mold in one corner (~ 1/2" wide x 2" high). The bathroom needs a renovation very badly, and obviously management doesn't have the forethought to plan that accordingly. The renovation MUST be done professionally (I've seen instances elsewhere where general renovation were done to non-Canadian standards, and many poor situations including missing deck screws in a stair). Have a plumber order a new shower and fixtures. Clear the terrible stuff out, redo the flooring, cabinet, toilet, shower and charge another $20 a night. People would be appreciative and come back! You need repeat business, and for me, I will steer very clear of this motel in future. The owners have every low standards.

Property provided everything needed. Our room was relatively clean, though bathroom looked used and worn out. A bit noisy at times from other guests and the cars passing through the road nearby. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay for such a relatively low price.
