“The twin room offered a good sized space for a European property, but otherwise was very disappointing as it was shabby and dated. I knew from the pictures not to expect luxury but it was less attractive in person. The building had the feel of an old roadside motel and I would not have felt safe or secure there if I had been traveling alone. “I have stayed at the Fox before and will again. The rooms are lovely, comfortable and very clean and the extra touches (tea/coffee facilities and cold milk in the fridge) are thoughtful and very appreciated. The breakfast is delicious and very thoughtful. I thought £7 for 2 slices of sourdough bread and £5 for a bottle of water to take to my room was a bit excessive!”
