Good value for money with great restaurant area

I was unlucky in getting a ground level room facing the street and parking lot, but apart from that the room was great, specially considering what I paid for it. Breakfast was a bit underwhelming if you do not eat meat (which I do not) or gluten (which I do not). This was more than compensated by a great atmosphere in the restaurant / breakfast area. Also, if you like meat, there was an abundance of different variations.

The receptionist at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. The hotel location was great and actually very quiet on our hotel floor didn’t hear anything from the other rooms. Our room was decent, although the tv didn’t work and the screen gave off a light the whole day and night. We had to cover it with a towel. There was a half drunken water bottle left maybe from a previous guest.

Deppigt lekrum som receptionisten knappt visste vart det lĂ„g och en knarrande hiss som man knappt vĂ„gade Ă„ka i. ÄndĂ„ tar hotellet rĂ€tt saftigt pris. Resturang fĂ„r dock bĂ€ttre betyg pga vĂ€ldigt mysig miljö. Maten ok, inte mer. Vi kommer nog inte tillbaks.

Rummet var vÀldigt slitet. Troligtvis inte gjort nÄgot underhÄll sedan 90-talet. Inredningen likasÄ sliten med belysning som inte fungerade och TV som heller inte fungerade som den skulle. Den gick inte att sÀtta pÄ den med mindre Àn att man fick lyfta ner den och dra ur och stopp i sladden igen.

De var en bit till parkeringen att slÀpa pÄ barn och packning men det löste sig, det som drar ner pÄ betyget var frukosten dÄligt utbud och inga sittplatser dÄ de stÀngt av halva matsalen. De platser som fanns var pÄ den kalla uteserveringen och inte ens nÀr vi bad om att fÄ sitta inomhus med tvÄ yngre barn gick detta att lösa. Den stÀngda delen skulle bestÀmt hÄllas stÀngd. Vi var flera som blev utvisade till den kalla och blöta uteplatsen. Sen var de mindre bra stÀdat hittade jordnötsringar pÄ golvet frÄn tidigare gÀst.

Personalen lyfter hotellet.

Hotellet kÀndes vÀldigt slitet, stÀmde inte överens med bilderna. Detta Àr dessutom första hotellet jag bor pÄ som inte har luftkonditionering, sÄ rummet var otroligt varmt. Man kunde lÄna fönsterhandtag i receptionen, men hjÀlpte föga.. Belysningen i hotellrummet var under all kritik, det var sÄ mörkt i rummet sÄ jag funderade pÄ att gÄ till Clas Ohlsson och köpa en bygglampa. Deras taklampor bestod av riktbara spotlights som hade vÀldigt lÄg spridningsvinkel. Detta i kombination med mörka vÀggar och golv gjorde att hela hotellrummet kÀndes som en grotta. SÀngarna hade behövt ses över, vÀldigt mjuka som inte gav nÄgot stöd. Personalen Àr verkligen detta hotellets grundsten och stöttepelare, alla vi trÀffade i reception och restaurang var supertrevliga och hjÀlpsamma oavsett med vad man bad om, de fÄr utan tvekan fem stjÀrnor!

Ingen AC. Olidligt varmt pÄ rummet.

Hotellet ligger vÀldigt centralt vilket Àr bra men det gick knappt att vistas i rummet dÄ det var alldeles för varmt. (Ingen AC) Det fanns tvÄ smÄ bordsflÀktar men dom gjorde inget mot vÀrmen. Hade jag stannat hÀr pÄ vinterhalvÄret hade jag inte haft nÄgot direkt att klaga pÄ. Man fÄr vad man betalar för. MEN. NÀr man inte kan sova pÄ grund av vÀrmen eller vistas i rummet utan att svettas bara för att det Àr soligt och varmt ute Àr det ett dÄligt beytg.
