“There are numerous important historic sites in counties Louth and Meath (e.g. Trim Castle and Monasterboice) that are well worth a visit. Nevertheless, the attraction and destination were Cabra Castle Hotel. We were not disappointed. The Castle is impressive inside and out during the day and at night, it is truly spectacular. “After a week on a river boat, we booked a night at Hartley House and thoroughly enjoyed it. We felt right at home and the hostess, Kate was remarkable in how she went above and beyond in order to meet our needs. This is the true Ireland in an old, historic house in a quiet country area. A very memorable stay with a wonderful big breakfast. ”
