We’ve been traveling for close to a month and this by far is the nicest hotel we’ve stayed in. Our room was on the second floor with a balcony overlooking the marina. The room was larger than most with a fireplace and great view of the marina. The bathroom was very large. This room had a large king size bed which was very comfortable. The property had a very nice restaurant. We would definitely stay here again.

The property is in a beautiful location in walking distance to the main part of town and across from a large public park with a wonderful walking trail. Events for a wedding were being held on the property which made parking for hotel guests very limited.

1st trip to Smithfield Virginia

Layed back stay is not ocean front so do jot expect the sandy beaches but this was a wonderful stay to relax, slow down and enjoy life. All of the staff were super nice and accommodating to us. The rooms were very clean and spacious verses a normal hotel room.

Beautiful location and stay. Missed the fireworks on 4th of July weekend. About an hour away from Va Beach. Will be back in the near future and check out local shops and historic sites.

Great place, unfortunately there were roadworks…

in front of the house and other people who disrupted the unique experience with loud music. At another time it might be the perfect spot to reset. The dishes in the restaurant are worth trying it, ours were great. The breakfast on the other hand you might skip.

It was a beautiful and peaceful stay. The views from the balcony were delightful and we were able to enjoy a lovely walk into town as well as a walk along the nearby marsh and walking trails. We would love to come again.

Enjoyable

Very nice place and roomy. Could have used more electric outlets or usb ports bedside. The balcony overlooking the water and boats was very relaxing. Breakfast was great with many selections.
