I was there for 4 days/3 nights . Location was perfect but the hotel was outdated for-sure . Black mold around the pool walls, hallways smelted of urine . Only one elevator which did not function correctly. Hair on bathroom walls and inside the tub . Stains on curtains and sheets and finally the toilet. The toilet had so many marks on them and was sliding out of place because it was loose . For $900 I at least expect a clean toilet . Parking was extremely tight . Won’t stay again but again location was perfect

The shower was broken and kitchen sink worked but the fixture was very loose. The bedding could have been better- it was basically two sheets. Check in was a delayed disaster due to rooms not being ready hours after check in time. Elevator very slow. Air conditioning units were filthy. Great location for beach access.

we did like the size of the two rooms. Bedding was OK and the room did stay cool from AC. No pictures which would’ve added some character. Did not like the lobby or the elevator. Too crunched up and had to ask for towels and toilet paper all the time. when we arrived at 4:00 the room was not available till 5:00 on Monday. check in time should be 4:00. I worked with Expedia and was charged an extra $176.92. Worker at desk didn’t act like he understood that.

Great location beautiful view of the beach,back room was great,had a stove top and nice fridge. Asked for sizzors to cut open my kids sand toys they said the didnt keep sharp objects on the property so bring sizzors if needed,and a air mattress cause the pull out couch was horrible can feel every spring and paper thin.we went and purchased a air mattress after 1 night of our stay.

This is a very affordable room, but it is an old property. There’s one very old elevator. When you walk in it reminds you a little bit of New York projects. There is a nice beach view for a very small balcony. I also like the spacious living room the staff was not friendly. In fact the staff member that woke me in was unprofessional and polite however, for the price it is closely located to some of the fun stuff

The view was incredible and the bed was very comfortable. Clean and spacious. Even though it was windy the balcony was definitely lovely. I enjoyed the sixth floor view of the sunrise over the ocean and watching the horse rides down the shoreline of the beach!

Room was never made while we stayed there, had to badger the desk to get clean towels, and had to use our own toiletries because the dispensers in the bathroom didn’t work. We were charged a $30 resort fee upon check-in, and wasn’t told about the amenities offered at the property. They had a refrigerator/freezer, an electric range, but no pots/pans, plates, cutlery or dining table. When we got to the room, it looked like the door was broken into at one point. The place had a Motel 6 vibe. On a brighter note, the view from the room was nice and the living room was spacious. The bedding was clean the night we checked in.

Don't expect high end service. The staff is great, friendly, and they handle issues accordingly. The water sometimes takes a while to get warm, oh well. Quit expecting high end hotel service. The rates at this property are incredible. You have an entire bedroom and spacious living room. A full size fridge and two burner stove top that work. I've stayed for extended periods of time and I'm happy with it.

Nothing really . Room was rundown . Water in shower was not working correct . Supposed to be a non smoking hotel . Room smelt so bad of Cigarette smoke . Lobby smelt of marijuana. Cigarettes butts on the floor of hotel . Bedroom air conditioner was not working well. Old pool . Needs updated bad . One small elevator for whole hotel . And they use it to take down smelly trash bags . And no air in the elevator.

While the Marjac offers scenic ocean views and a conveniently equipped kitchen, our stay was deeply disappointing and fell far short of what the price point demands. The property appears to have undergone a superficial overhaul in recent years, but the quality of the work is substandard and ongoing maintenance is severely lacking. ​Cleanliness was a pervasive issue throughout our stay. The living room sofa was in unacceptable condition, the towels were stained, and the general state of the bed linens left us questioning their hygiene. Beyond the room, the common hallways are unkept and carry strong, persistent cooking or waste odors. To compound these issues, the air conditioning unit was excessively loud, and our repeated requests to the front desk for housekeeping services were completely ignored. ​For the rate charged, both the accommodations and the underwhelming reception area are wildly inadequate. Adding an compulsory 'resort fee' on top of sub-par service and unmaintained facilities feels like an unfair cash grab. Given the significant cost, we expected a far higher standard of hospitality and cannot recommend this property.

I will say the gentleman that was working the desk when we arrived was super nice and helpful. I am used to always staying at the Hampton Inns when I travel so I am guilty of holding everything else to that standard. I should just state the facts not opinions. Everything was just kind of not real clean for the facility in general..worn and very tired looking, not fresh. The room was clean enough,..both TVs were not working upon arrival meaning a trip back down stairs, then to wait for him to arrive to re-set them. No problem really because he was super nice and helpful, The security lock on the door was broken, the smoke alarm was missing from the wall and there were 2 holes in the wall with aluminum foil stuffed in them. there were only 3 towels for 5 people meaning another trip down stairs on the filthy elevator. the windows with a fabulous ocean front view were greasy and looked like they had not been cleaned in years. The windows at the lobby were just nasty. I guess it's things like that that may not be a real big deal but optics usually generate the first opinions. If the staff had not been so nice this would be a "bad" review but thankfully their kindness and humor saved the day!
