All the employees we met were very friendly. The ladies in charge of breakfast did a great job keeping food fresh and areas clean. There was eggs; egg sandwiches, oatmeal, fresh fruit ,cereal, fresh waffles and more. Collette at the front desk was very helpful. The outdoor pool was nice too. The only complaint was the mattress and pillows weren’t comfortable. The bed too firm and pillows too flat

The entire staff during our stay were beyond welcoming and helpful starting with David and “Coke” at the front desk. From the moment that we checked in, and throughout our three day stay, they treated us like family as if we were repeat guests whom they’ve known for years. The property is kept up well and is in a great central location close to shops, restaurants, and the highway. The room was spacious and bed and pillows were super comfortable. Breakfast was great. The only thing that we felt needs improvement but will still give 5 stars for is that while the bathroom is very roomy, there is no shelf or counter where to place anything such as a robe, towels, toiletries or change of clothes. We look forward to staying at the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Chesapeake on any future trips to the area.

Breakfast, and the staff in the breakfast area, were great. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful at check-in and every morning. The room was comfortable (the air conditioner was pretty loud when the compressor kicked in). The shower was great. The only problem was that housekeeping never came to clean or replenish the towels in the six days we stayed, even when we stopped by the front desk in the morning to inform them that we would be away for the day. The TV was very loud when it came on to the main menu page and the sound kicked in and out when watching a program. CBS was not available on their system. The pool area was nice but very loud from highway noise.
