This was our first experience staying at a Bed and Breakfast. We hit the jackpot. Rick provided incredible breakfast. Sharon has done a wonderful job decorating. It was such a relaxing environment. Perfect proximity to the beach. We really enjoyed a relaxing weekend. Just what we were looking for. Thank you Rick and Sharon.

Best B and B in VA Beach!

Such a cute place to stay and wonderful hosts! The breakfasts were amazing. Only a short walk to the beach. Nice neighborhood. Would definitely stay again!!!

Barclay B&B is such a lovely spot. The owners Sharon and Rich give loving care to the property and their guests. Rich is a fantastic cook and serves up gourmet breakfast every morning.

This cottage hotel was truly the bomb dot com, and its a 5 min walk to the beach. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE.SUPER DUPER COZY. U WILL LOVE IT AND THE PARKING IS FREE. Parking down at VA is VERY EXPENSIVE

Rich and Sharon are welcoming and attentive. Their home is tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Rich is a wonderful cook who thoughtfully packed me a to-go bag when I had to miss his breakfast service. Highly recommend!

This b&b is adorable, it looks like it belongs somewhere in a storybook seaside town. The bed was clean and comfortable, the owners served amazing, 4-star breakfast daily, and were supremely helpful and friendly during our stay. My best friend and I were utterly charmed by their hospitality and the friendliness of their kitty, Fiona. I cannot recommend them enough!

This was my first time ever staying at a bed-and-breakfast, I was joined by two friends and it was their first time as well, all three of us were very pleased with our stay. Sharon and Rich, a.k.a. Ken and Barbie, lol. Were very friendly, very accommodating and I would definitely go back and stay at this bed-and-breakfast If I am ever fortunate to come back to Virginia Beach

This was a very intimate stay. My wife and I enjoyed the interesting conversations that we had with the owners and other guests during the morning breakfasts. Rich and Sharon (the owners) were fabulous. The breakfasts were beyond our expectations. They were more like what you would see at a 5 star restaurant. The location is only 3 blocks from the oceanfront, which was very convenient. Parking can be expensive in the area, so having a place to park was great! The rooms were well kept. The bathroom was spacious, although it was down the hallway. That can be a challenge if you are someone who has to make 'bathroom trips' in the middle of the night. All in all , it was a great time.

This is a hidden gem from a bygone era. One doesn’t go to a bed and breakfast simply for a place to stay for a few nights and, oh, they serve breakfast also like every other hotel. No, you go to a bed and breakfast for the experience of unwinding and meeting no people. The caretakers here are wonderful in every sense of the word. The breakfast is simply amazing and is a fantastic way to start your day. I got a massage at the spa, which I should have done sooner. Everyone always say their massage was great but was amazing. This was exactly what I was looking to do to get away for the weekend. RELAX.

Most of all, we loved the hospitality of the owners. They were very gracious and full of local history and information. They were very good at balancing when they needed to be available and when we needed privacy. Hidden Gem

Sharon and Rich were amazing, the establishment had a family feel. Breakfast was awesome, everyday was a different chef specialty from chef ( Rich ) . Just a 3 min walk to the beach and restaurants. They also have bikes, coolers, beach umbrellas chairs, beach wagons that make easy for everyone’s comfort.

It was absolutely amazing! A beautiful home the couple welcomed me into their home. It was absolutely lovely. Breakfast was a chef kiss!! Clean and comfortable. Bike are available for a bike ride on the Broadwalk
