The checking process was fast. Steve, the younger was very attentive, made a point to make sure I had everything. I needed, including a new refrigerator for the room. Everything was clean nicely decorated.The only issue was the smell of mold or mildew coming from the air conditioner.

big thanks to the owners they were awesome, easy to work with and answered all my questions and helped me out while in town. the place is great, clean, air conditioning unit worked great place was actually cold and there was a heat wave 100+ outside. thanks for a great trip i will be back next year!

We loved staying at this little cottage. The room was clean and it had a great little front porch to hang out and sip cocktails after the sun set. It is just one block from the beach and there are plenty of restaurants you can walk to. Great place for half the cost of Ocean front.

This place is a diamond in the ruff. It is located on Pacific and 24th which is very close to the Boardwalk and Walgreens is just across the street. Bring your own plates, forks, shampoo, etc. towels are provided. Security is active from evening to morning. So you can rest easy even being close to the beach crowd. I’d definitely stay there again!

We can't wait to return.

We stayed in an efficiency cottage. It was cute and extremely clean. It provided all we needed with a stovetop, microwave and small refrigerator for our 3 day stay. We brought our own pans, cooking utensils, and plates. The cottage was small yet had plenty of storage for kitchen items and clothing. The location was perfect with quick access to the beach and nearby stores. The staff was friendly and a joy to chat with.

I enjoyed staying at Angie's Guest Cottage; it is unique. I loved my room with the wicker and king bed. It was very clean. This was my first time in visiting my niece and I chose Angie's Guest Cottage for my stay. Norma and Steve were welcoming and I liked the "family" type of ownership. I definitely recommend them as a welcoming change from staying in a hotel.

The staff was very friendly and even let us stay parked a couple of hours beyond checkout. The only downside was our first floor room had a noisy renter above, constantly moving chairs which we could clearly hear through the unsoundproofed ceiling.

I come every year and Steve never looks any older! Great stay, super comfortable and convenient with 7/11, Walgreens and dining options steps away. I walked to the beach and never moved my car. Kitchenette is unequipped so bring, plates, cups, cutlery etc if you need them. I’ll be back!

Expedia gives this an 8.6 but is extremely deceptive about this stay. First, I received a call from the owners prior to check in asking what time specifically I would be checking in. They clearly don't stay in the office unless needed. As soon as I arrived, the owner walked my fiancé and I to our cottage with a very brief tour and then went straight back inside his home which was right next to ours. The room itself was clean enough although the bed skirt had stains. The towels provided were small but I couldn’t ask for more because I didn’t realize this until after hours. You should bring your own shampoo and conditioner because none was provided. The room also said it had a kitchenette but there are no cups, plates, silverware. Overall, if I knew it was a motel, then I would have adjusted my expectations accordingly but Expedia made it sound like a nice, homey cottage/B&B type situation. Check out was at 11 am but when I tried to check out around 9 am the office was locked. I called all 3 numbers given and no one answered so we left the keys and parking pass inside the room and left. The worst part is that we received a parking ticket because we had an “expired pass”. When I finally got a call back 10 hrs later, the owner was rude and said he showed us where to park (he gestured that we could park over there) and there was nothing he could do, but we should call the city and they would waive it. We called VB but are on the hook for a $70 parking ticket

I can’t say enough good things about this place! It’s our spot. We’ve stayed here before, but this time the kids and I decided to make it our permanent Virginia Beach place. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and the staff is wonderful as well. It’s a really short walk to the beach from the parking lot. We didn’t have to drive the whole time we were here. Everything you need is within walking distance. Walgreens, Restaurants, 711. There’s an outdoor shower to wash off which in my opinion is one of the best amenities. With kids and sand it’s just nice to be able to rinse off at the cottage, and not have to wait in the line at the beach. There’s an outdoor area to hang out and play also. I almost forgot the security . I had no qualms about sending my 15 year old out to the car at 1130 P.M. to grab his Switch because they have excellent security! You can walk around and not have to worry at all. We will definitely be back as soon as we can!

First, there was a $250 deposit, which was more than expected for a 2 night stay. It was returned within 48 hours of checkout. The staff was nice. The room had cheap wicker furniture and beds were more like cots. The upstairs room we were in had a huge roof slant and had to duck to use the bathroom and sleep with my head towards the headboard to fit. It had a kitchen but had no pots, pans, plates, silverware, cookware, or anything useful to prepare meals. The location was great for dining, the beach, parking, and entertainment.

A hidden gem! I've been going to Virginia Beach for years and wish I'd found this place sooner. 2 blocks from the beach right in the center of the beach area. Everything within easy walking distance. Clean, beautifully furnished and decorated and reasonably priced. Full kitchen, but just make sure you bring your own pots, pans, plates and utensils if you plan to actually cook! (I read other reviews before I came, so I did!) Both father and son are friendly and helpful and make sure and keep a family friendly environment! I'll be back.

This is the place to stay if you're into more traditional quiet cottages rather than big standard hotels. Angie's is so cute and cozy! The beds are very comfortable and everything extra clean. On top of that Steve Sr. is a hoot! And his dog Shredder is a sweetheart. We could talk forever with Steve and learn the history and interesting facts about the community. So much fun! Also great location, next to the beach and board walk and great restaurants. Loaded up on oysters. We will come back here for sure!

The lady with the long hair in the front waa rude everytime I had to interact. During check in and another occasion she ignored me and only verbalized her concerns in my room. She never greeted me. Also, check your receipt because they charged for additional over night guest. I can say so much even with the other 2 guys. Disrespectful! The red head lady was cool. I asked simple questions and they seemed ready like they were ready for confrontation. I hated every moment and stayed clear from making my stay uncomfortable for my, kids, family concerns, and my belongings. I would NEVER recommend this place.
