Nice hotel with history

First visit in Nora and when you are at this hotel you are in the heart of the little city. Hotel with history and culture, comfortable rooms and free parking. Breakfast with high quality.

Location and Family Gathering

This is a lovely old hotel in the charming village of Nora. Great location as you can walk to pretty much everywhere in Nora. The hotel has a beautiful restaurant with very good food. Several other family members were staying, as well, and the restaurant was a great gathering place for all of us. The included breakfast was very good with lots of delicious foods and breads to choose from.

I find it very expensive for what is offering, small room, the bathroom was new and nice. B-fast choices quite poorly for this price . You can do better Stadshotell with the prices

Our main issue was that our check in was at 3pm and we got there at 2:50pm and the doors to the hotel were locked and no staff was there. Apparently they all left at noon that day! Luckily some people happened to walk out of the hotel so we could get in and we were able to find our keys were left on the counter. We never really interacted with staff our entire stay which actually didn’t bother us. So yeah, except for being locked out originally it was great.

Receptionen hel ok. Städ bra. Frukost medel. Äggröran på pulver men annars ok utbud. Äldre rum, slitna. Flera kuddar vilket är bra. Sängen mycket mjuk. Problemet är läget mitt i centrum. Mycket hög musiknivå från bilat som åker runt och spelar musik fram till kl 01.30. Sedan drar fiskmåsarna igång kl 04.00. Inte hotellets fel men 2 nätter utan sömn...vi kommer tyvärr inte tillbaka. Nora är superfint men bo ej centralt.

Frukosten var väldigt bra. Även om det inte var så mycket olika val så var det väl valda val. Om ni bor på en helg så tänk på att det är Epa-tätt område och musik spelades högt precis utanför hotellet vid diverse tillfällen under natten. Inte hotellets fel och omöjligt att skydda sig emot.

Väldigt nedgånget hotell. Ett hotell kan absolut vara både äldre och av lägre standard om det är prissatt därefter men i det här fallet är det både dyrt (drygt 1900:-) för ett rum med dubbelsäng och bäddsoffa och väldigt nedgånget.
