Stunning room views only an hour from Bilbao

Wonderful hotel at Trengandin beach in the beautiful town of Noja! What can I say? I’ve been coming to Noja since the 1970s, originally in a Campervan on this beach with my parents. Now if I have business in Bilbao I always make a trip here, it’s my happy place. Stunning views, amazing food (breakfast and dinner), freshest of seafood, and very comfortable rooms. Don’t expect to hear and English during your stay though, which just adds to the charm!

Un hotel impecable en todos los sentidos. La distribución que tiene tanto el hotel en si como las propias habitaciones, perfectamente equipadas, lo hacen de lo más confortable. Hacía tiempo que no me alojaba en un hotel que me causase tan buena impresión. El desayuno muy completo con buen café (de cápsulas) y el restaurante con muy buena mano para la cocina. Cenamos dos veces y estaba todo exquisito. Cuando vuelva por Noja me alojaré de nuevo en este hotel, no me cabe duda.

Buenas vistas, pero no creo que volvamos.

La ubicación es excelente, en la misma línea de playa y preciosas vistas, pero la limpieza general de la habitación deja bastante que desear. Hace falta una limpieza en profundidad: migre en las juntas de la bañera, telarañas en el techo de la habitación y las sábanas tenían unas manchas que se veía que las habían lavado pero esas manchas no se habían ido, de ser así deberían de fijarse al hacer la cama y no ponerlas. El restaurante para comer muy bien, la comida buena y ricas tartas caseras. El desayuno que entra con la habitación basta ante justito.

Stay away in winter.

No food or refreshments available as it was low season. Very expensive to eat out if you can find anywhere open because it was low season . Had to rely on local Carrefour Express to purchase only cold food so wouldn’t recommend for a stay in the winter months. Having said that , the receptionist who was the only member of staff there was pleasant.
