They have 2 outdoor onsens, both are wonderful. I especially enjoyed the electronic massage chairs after bathing. Also there’s a fireworks show every night behind the hotel in the summer.

This a great quiet stay with many rooms offering a fantastic view of the lake. I do have to warn travelers with tattoos that they are not tolerated in the slightest and they do not have a private onsen to reserve.

Wonderful location facing the lake & also short walk to 7/11 convenient store and some family run restaurants. Rooms are spacious but a bit outdated and toilet area is rather tight. It is a big hotel with many guests and they do serve a good breakfast.

Overall experiend is good

Room is big and clean, just toilet too small for our room at 8th floor. Hotel is renovating, hope will have a bigger toilet in future. Breakfast and dinner buffet spread is good. No chance to try the onsen, hope will have a chance in future.

We were very pleased with the location, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful everywhere. The building isn’t brand new but it’s well kept and clean. In fact I was expecting something a bit more old fashioned after looking on the Expedia listing. Overall a very nice time with a beautiful view of Lake Toya wherever you go!

Hotel with ladies Yukata rental

The hotel is located right in front of lake Toya with direct access for viewing fireworks. The buffet dinner and breakfast provided has lot of selection but quite similar. The room is clean, spacious but aircon is weak. One bonus is that they have easy fitting ladies Yukata rental at affordable price.

Have stayed in many ryokans in the past hence was pleasantly surprised to find this ryokan modern and new! The lobby area was really modern looking and check in was a breeze. The Japanese style rooms were also very spacious. Our package was half board, so we had the buffet dinner and buffet breakfast. Both meals were decent with a good spread of food to cater to different palates. Great hotel!

The water n island view, the lake side walk, the lobby, the glass building coffee cafe, the huge dining n breakfast, the star n moon view onsen hot bath the kind staff service , all incredibly excellent, i also take an extra hour lake side walk after the delicious breakfast buffet, then ask the hotel call a taxi for me the train station which i bot a 7 days Japan Rail bullet train enjoy tour All Japan with JR to , a bit regret , should stay 2 days at this hotel instead of 1 night stand rush

The Hotel location is great. The lake is so beautiful. The hotel building, room size and breakfast are great. However, I was charged 600 Yen for the additional tax. I am not happy about the room floor (assigned the first floor) and the service did not agree to change the floor location.

Family friendly facilities , indoor play area for young children . Public bath is clean and comfortable . However , it seem overly crowded with tour groups checking in . But space is adequate for all. Half board dinner seem pricey but reasonable varieties . Was expecting Jap hotpot set dinner instead of buffet , kind of disappointed in that .

I love the location of the hotel, you can just walk out of the hotel and see Lake Toya right away. The ticket center for buying cruise tickets was also nearby. I love walking along the promenade of Lake Toya, it was so peaceful and beautiful. The daily fireworks was also great and viewable from our hotel. There were enough free parking lots at the hotel too, but carpark b was rather tricky to park as its situated on a slope. Its better to park at carpark a or c.

Wide variety of food at the dinner and breakfast line. There were some nice dishes. The soundproofing in the room was terrible and we were jostled awake by the slamming/ closing of doors from other room and crying of babies along the corridor almost every hour until 2am. Onsen was pleasant. Would definitely NOT recommend this hotel overall if you are looking for a good rest.

The view from the rooms are good, can see the firework show from the room. However, the air condition in the room was a bit weak. The dinner buffet as not good as the breakfast. If you are the person who loves the onsen, you need to plan well how to dry your towels. Hotel only give you a set of towel per person a day.

The onsens were nice. The breakfast options and quality was lovely. The dinner quality was unexpectedly low. There are not a lot of options for meals outside of the property and those that were in town with odd hours. The sporting activities were mostly unavailable. For the respectful people in Japan felt bad for the disrespectful tourists that were at the hotel which disrupted our experience (cutting in food lines, leaving trash in the onsen, stealing slippers, loud, etc).

We have a lakeside room so the view is amazing. However, food is disappointing. Dinner we had crabs and it is NOT fresh, couldn’t even finish it. Dinner’s Buffett is also not tasty. Lots of foreigner big tours stay here and a lot of them are very loud while some are rude. The lady next to our table kept bad mouthing us in another language, thinking I don’t understand what she’s saying. Hot spring in the morning for ladies is on the B floor, it is pleasant but I will not stay here again.

One of the best hotel I ever stayed Room: Larger than the normal you would find in the city. View: We got the wonderful lake view and we can't be more happy with the beauty in winter. Bed/Pillow/Duvet: they are all soft, comfortable Onsen (Roof top): the most beautiful view you can get for the outdoor with 2 round tub. There is also a small cold bath and a sauna. Spacious onsen and plenty of showers ensure its not crowded. Indoor onsen temperature is hotter than outdoor. Onsen (Basement): An outdoor and an indoor with sauna. Outdoor onsen temperature is hotter than indoor. A beautiful garden right in front of the outdoor. Dining hall: Overseeing the lake and snow in winter. Food: I had the breakfast and its has great mix of traditional Japanese and western delights. Food was great as a whole. Lobby: there is a large resting area with books for you to relax and read. In addition, there is a bar serving drinks and you can sit indoor enjoying the wonderful view of the lake. Service: excellent as a whole. Staffs speaks
