I loved our huge room with private balcony onsen and the Japanese design of the room. Very friendly staff. Breakfast and dinner were really good and for us more than sufficient in quantity. They have a rotating set of 3 different dinners, so day 4 = day 1, but for us that was fine. Bed was a bit on the hard side but I got used to it.

This property was lovely. We stayed in two balcony rooms with private balcony baths and it was brilliant to sit in the bath and watch the river go by. The food (we had dinner and breakfast) was great, particularly the dinner. All the hotel staff were attentive and polite, helping us with anything we needed.
