The check-in was very efficient. Alain and all the front desk staff were helpful and welcoming. We stayed as a family (two adults and two teens) and the room was just the right size. The bed and pullout couch for our teens were comfortable. A special acknowledgment for Elisa, one of the cleaning staff, who helped us find a way to San Remo when the trains weren’t working well. 😎 The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the beach, to the old city with restaurants and shopping. We would definitely come back again, and stay at other Happy Jay hotels too!

Stayed here for 5 nights whilst visiting my son. Room was excellent with a small cooking area (two ring hob, microwave, fridge and coffee machine - coffee pods topped up every day). Very comfy bed. Location is excellent, about 5 minutes walk from the nearest tram stop, around 10 minutes to the city centre and 5 minutes to the sea front. Staff extremely helpful and welcoming. Will definitely stay here again.

The Jay Hotel is a relatively small hotel with around 30-35 rooms. It's ideally situated for the beautiful promenade, as well as Nice's many bars and restaurants. The hotel manager is friendly and helpful. For us, the areas where it could do better are: size of the rooms and storage space - if you ignore the kitchenette, we had one wardrobe, no drawers - not really enough for a 4 night stay; configuration of the bathroom - eg, the position of our lavatory made usage rather challenging (be advised if you are over 6 feet/180 cm tall); finally, breakfast was typically chaotic as the room just isn't big enough to accommodate the numbers (hence chairs being moved around, and even brought in from reception). If the Jay Hotel could make a few tweaks to make it feel less cramped, it would be a great hotel.

I have now stayed here 3 times and its always a pleasure. The staff are so friendly and kind. This is my first choice to stay when I am in Nice. I like that the rooms hsve a kitchenette and there is a grocery store nearby.

Wonderful hotel, walking distance to major sites, 100 meters from the beach, lots of good restaurants within five minutes walk. Warm and friendly staff, really helpful introductions to the surrounding areas, love you guys.
