Great stay at this hotel. Excellent location with easy access to public transport, and a few minutes walk to the beach. Situated on a lovely leafy street. Room was well equipped and the bed was comfortable. Would definitely stay here again

Best breakfast!

The hotel has a perfect location and close to both the beach, city center and central station. The staff is super friendly and the highlight is the breakfast. Totally fresh and delicious and managed by Madame Sestilia, who takes pride in keeping everything fresh and clean.

Was great. Since the beginning until our check out. Very easy to get from the train station, with a Carrefour city in case you need very close. Very close to the nicest part of the beach. The people at the reception all 🌟 . Definitely I recomend the place

Outstanding service and good location

The service at the hotel was outstanding. Sylvie helped me arrange transfers before my stay via email and it was so helpful. She was also very welcoming when I arrived. The service from all of the staff was great. The location of the hotel is central and walkable. Not directly on the water which was my preference. The hotel is located in a nice neighborhood. The common areas such as hallways could use a little sprucing up but otherwise, a very nice place to stay.

The best staff and service

An amazing hotel with the best staff! We were caught up with the UK air traffic control and had multiple flight cancellations. The staff at the Malmaison couldn't have been kinder or more accommodating. They extended our stay, held luggage and helped us find our way through a stressful time. I couldn't recommend this hotel more!

Very well managed hotel

A very comfortable hotel ideally placed for both the Promenade des Anglais and Nice Ville train station. Most of the main attractions are well within a 20-30 minute walk. Bus and tram services are readily found from the hotel. The very efficient Airport tram (Line 2 - single ticket price E.1.50 bought at one of the ticket machines) stops at Alsace-Lorraine station which is less than a 10-minute walk from the hotel. Without exception, the staff are professional, helpful and friendly and the hotel is extremely well managed. The breakfast buffet has a wide choice of hot and cold foods. It's delicious and very well presented. My (Executive) room was quietly situated and had a very decent balcony. Both bedroom and bathroom had generous proportions and excellent facilities. Just a few adverse comments: - The bedroom fits well into the hotel's general decor but it lacks warmth and intimacy. Some brighter colours and pictures would help. - The bathroom has an impractical hand basin. Any kind of washing from it results in water overspill. Access to the shower above the (welcome) bath tub is not easy. None of these comments would stop my recommending this first class hotel or my staying there again.

Room was clean and location was excellent, and front desk service was top notch. Viorica was very helpful in answering our questions. Recommend asking for a higher floor to avoid occasional late night traffic noise, but it was not significant enough to bother us. Great place to stay!
