The check-in was extremely slow with the male receptionist. I was kept waiting for a long time. The female receptionist was very nice and helpful. They seem very strict about the check-in time too whereas other hotels have some flexibility if the room is ready. The room on the top floor had great views.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The room was large with a nice bathroom. Breakfast was very good every morning. The location was good. It was only a six minute walk from the L2 Tram from the airport. It was also about an eight minute walk to the promenade de Anglais. Niece is beautiful with a lot of elegant buildings. If I come again, I would be quite happy staying at hotel Villa Victor Hugo.
