We were surprised by an upgraded room when we arrived (we hadn’t even asked for it). It was a king suite with a big whirlpool tub. I was expecting it to be in the room with the bed (which gives me the ick) but surprisingly it was a second huge room with big whirlpool tub and TV. Fun! The bed and pillows were comfortable. All areas of the rooms and bathroom were perfectly clean. Didn’t use the outdoor pool. Close enough to Mystic and the New London Ferry to Block Island, which was the reason for our trip. No complaints!

It is fine for a quick visit. The breakfast isn't useful for us, we prefer healthier options. Unfortunately, the room had a very bad smell for all 3 nights I were there. (strong musty or someone cooked something that gave off a terrible odor for days). The room was clean, housekeepers great. The hotel was completely booked so changing wasn't an option.

Nice Stay, large room, easy to work from, breakfast was typical hotel fare. Roadwork was going on at the time so getting in and out of the entry road was a little tricky. Roadwork was audible after 8 am but not the hotel's fault. Located conveniently close to Stop and Shop food store. Very Clean and well maintained.

it was a short conversation when I checked in. The front desk asked for my ID copy and credit card, did not mention other things like breakfast arrangement, nearby restaurant info if we are interested. The breakfast is very basic, even did not have hot oatmeal. Its location is good.
