Very dated, for starters… the microwave had dials on it?!? The bedding was straight out of the late 70s. The internet brought back memories of dial-up. It was too slow to stream entertainment, let alone browse the internet or apps like Amazon. The TV received 9 channels, and two of them were duplicates… You absolutely get what you pay for. In seriousness though - the location is the selling point. I was in the area to watch a basketball tournament at Brock University in St. Catharines, and it was equal distance to run into Niagara Falls for entertainment after hours.

This is definitely a budget motel. It was clean. The bathroom is quite basic. The AC was noisy and prevented a good nights sleep. The pool was been left to decommission. We were told the jacuzzi tub didn't work but still disappointing. Too much money for a very basic room.

This is an older property. I have no problem with that. The room was fairly clean, except the bed sheets did have a couple stray hairs and debris, so they did not appear to be clean. No evidence of bedbugs though. We made the most of it and slept on top and not in between the sheets. Our room had a refrigerator that didn’t work. There is no ice machine or coffee. Available. I don’t need a fancy breakfast or a pool (they have a pool with no water and a playground that looks about 40 years old) to be happy. But I generally do appreciate ice and coffee. The mosquitoes in the area are terrible. It’s hard not to get them in your room when you go in the room at night. Minimize it by shutting the door fast! Our room had some flies. Maybe they came in with the mosquitos, but I don’t know. They were a little annoying. It’s not all bad. The property is very quiet. The beds were actually very comfortable. We both slept well. There are some extended stay guests we met who were really nice. The man who checked us in was very polite. The bathroom was incredibly clean and the shower had great water pressure. Still, I probably would not return.
