It is definitely a very old hotel, but it was quite functional and had nice charm. Our first room had a funky smell, but we were quickly and easily relocated to a new one. It was a very convenient location, near the Falls and Clifton Hills! Be aware of parking though - the hotel does have a parking lot for guests, but it filled up quickly on the second night and turned into a bit of a gridlock.

Property looks fine. Friendly staff & very accommodating especially Supreme (the owner?). Our room is quiet spacious. However few comments in the bathroom: -Shower floor very slippery -could have added a body wash at the shower -towels could have been thicker -need enough shelves and/or table in the bathroom for toiletries etc Otherwise, its a good hotel to stay around Fallsview.

The room that we booked at Expedia did not come with a microwave. So, my husband and i decided to transfer and upgrade to a room with microwave and balcony. Harita and Asim made the upgrade process very smooth. All staff at Glengate are very warm and helpful. This is our third time to stay in this hotel and they never disapppoint. It feels like home. Room is always clean and quiet. We will come back again for sure. Affordable and great value.
