The highlander is our go to stopping point when we’re heading to Glencoe. We usually have our small dog with us and it’s great that it’s dog friendly. We’ve stayed 3/4 times now and would definitely stay again. It’s clean and the foods good.

I was a bit apprehensive bringing a group here due to previous reviews and I can honestly say I was pleasantly surprised the rooms were a good size , bathrooms seemed almost brand-new, tea coffee facilities, hairdryer, bathroom amenities etc all as you would expect. nice big parking areas, bar was great staff were great and the breakfast was also a decent offering for the Price. If anyone else thinks differently I would happily give them some names of properties nearby which this hotel is twice as good as.

The room was clean, comfy bed and good shower. The place in general looked a bit run down. The cooked breakfast was terrible with fatty bacon and sausages with hard skins. The continental breakfast lacked in variety. The staff were very attentive.

The room was really spacious compared with other accommodation we have had in the UK. Breakfast was ok, dinner was pretty poor at the onsite restaurant. Staff were friendly. The location was good for our road trip around Scotland. A big negative for us was the noise from the floor above us, the floor board were so creaky we heard every step of the people upstairs, and the entry doors would bang closed…. No sleep in for us.

Firstly room was clean, staff friendly and helpful, breakfast good. However the Hotel badly needs an update. The heater on bedroom wall needed replaced, a light fitting on the ceiling was hanging loose, the interior fixture and fittings need replaced with new ones, the shower cubicle barely big enough. Ok for a one night stay but couldn’t have stayed another night.
