“What a beautiful place in an idyllic setting. Our room was extremely spacious and could have benefited from a portable air conditioning unit as we were located at the top of the building but the heat didn’t detract from our experience. The bed was large and comfortable and the tea/coffee, and biscuits were top quality. The fresh milk in the fridge and chilled water was an unexpected bonus ! “It’s the first room I’ve stayed in apart from an Airbnb where the room was not made up, pillows on the floor remained on the floor as did blankets etc. they said they were not allowed to touch anything that had an item of someone’s personal property on it, but they could have folded and tidied things, they left clean towels on the unmade beds. Absolute shocker really, not Airbnb prices either. Cot for child is small than usual size travel cots. Room was next to car park with noisy gravel no room...

“The Grosvenor is on the main street, with it's own car parking behind the hotel. All the staff were really helpful and friendly. The decor throughout the hotel was attractive and all the rooms well maintained. We had the Mayfly suite, which had a four poster bed, seating area and a large bathroom. There was a good choice on the breakfast menu. The attractive garden has plenty of seating areas. The location was perfect for where we were visiting. We will definitely return to the Grosvenor.”

“The hotel is a very old mill from the 1600’s. You have to duck through the doorways and my husband could not stand up without hitting his head on a beam or the ceiling. “El hotel es hermoso , el staff muy àmable y el desayuno muy bueno. Lo único que nos sorprendio e incómodo fue que en una estancia de 3 NOCHES, la habitación nunca se limpió, ni siquiera se sacó la basura o se cambiaron las toallas. Es una lástima si falta de limpieza ya que nuestra calificación hubiera sido mucho mejor si esto no hubiera pasado”
