Beautiful place inside and out. Convenient to downtown, many restaurants and entertainment. The Couple who own the place are very friendly and helpful. They offer excellent food for breakfast and daytime snacks. Best place for a weekend getaway in Newton NC

Our stay at the Trott House Inn was absolutely amazing! The location was perfect, our room was so cozy, and the entire inn was so clean and inviting! Our stay was incredibly romantic and just what we needed for a night getaway! We chose this over a hotel and so glad we did! Makenzie made a wonderful breakfast for us and the endless Nespresso coffee maker was just what we needed for a chilly afternoon! We will be back!

We so loved being this this wonderful Bed and Breakfast. It was everything we imagined from the design to the warm feelings it brings from an era gone by. So thankful we didn't stay in another hotel.

This place was amazing. My daughter and I stopped here in May 2025, and we felt like we were royalty. The special treats and fancy coffee were great but being able to enjoy it out on a quiet porch was amazing. The breakfast the next morning was perfect with hot and cold options and lots of delicious goodies. The only word of warning is that there was an amazing private bathroom for our room (“College”). The shower was about the size of an RV shower. My slim teenage daughter had warned me because she experienced it first. I admit it was a small space but I would be more than willing to give up shower space for the convenience of having our own personal bathroom in our room. Many B&Bs do not have this option. Perhaps the other rooms have larger options. If you require a larger space then I would inquire which room to book. You will absolutely love this place and all that they have to offer!

Very clean and very comfortable B B. Breakfast is self serve with some items to heat up but not a bacon/ egg situation. The whole visit is automated with little or no personal contact ;which I miss from the past. Overall very pleasant place to spend the night in a nice little town

McKenzie & Miles are lovely, as is the Inn & gardens. Very clean & comfortable. High end linens, bed & towels.Luxurios. Breakfast nothing to write home about. Very limited offerings for diabetics. First time with Nespresso — fun!
