Loved it . Old house with antique shop to one side. Room very fresh ,clean and bright. The hosts Clive and Tina could not do enough for you. Lovely couple ,welcoming and friendly, nothing too much trouble . Their objective was to make sure you were as comfortable as could be. The breakfasts were plentiful and very filling with a good choice of foods also had homemade berry compote to go with it . Location in town centre within easy reach of everywhere. I can honestly say i will be returning . Loved our 4 nights there and was sorry to leave if were honest . Well done Clive and Tina

I was very happy with this B & B. The owners were very accommodating and friendly. The room was very clean and had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Very central to Bovey town. The breakfast was very good too, served within the antique shop with lots to look at. I would stay here again.

Great location

Was unable to communicate with owners prior to visit. Sent four messages via the Vrbo site with no response. Owners are not hooked up to their messaging system but would recommend!!! Also, was handed a paper receipt which was a nice touch but unnecessary as already received via email on VRBO site. Save Trees and time and skip that. Nice people and breakfast was delicious.

So much more than just a place to stay

Lovely comfortable rooms. With wonderful bed and luxurious soft pillows. Good hot shower. Best thing was the amazing breakfast and the owners own home made berry compote. Beautiful old building and warm and friendly hosts you almost sad to say goodbye to. Will definitely stay again. Thank you. Ps lovely local area too

OK but over priced

The room was clean and everything provided. However, not double glassed windows so not possible to open a fanlight for ventilation. The cheap value shower difficult to control the temperature. The cheap value bendy plastic toilet seat has a mind of its own . Cold room. I think the gristly sausage was own brand value range. Council car park a few mins walk away.

Comfortable stay

Room was clean, private bathroom was along corridor but robe was provided. Was told hosts use it as well overnight. Left early so can not comment on food. Breakfast had to be ordered night before but wide choice offered. Friendly host. Nice house.
