Food was great. Majority of staff were friendly and efficient. If the hadn't tried to sit me facing a wall in a corner as a single guest, the rooms had aircon and better sound installation between them then this would have be 5 stars. Gripes aside I will most likely stay there again if I am visiting the same customer nearby.

The Carrington Arms is a lovely place to stay. We stayed there last year whilst visiting our 97 year old aunt and returned this year for her 98th. The hotel is very interesting and old, but the rooms annex has all the modern accommodation people would want. It would be lovely if there was a little more information about the history of the building. I will do a little research myself. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was spectacular. Hopefully we will be back next year.
