We recently stayed at The Carriage House and had a very nice experience. There was a concern with our first room door, but the gentleman at the front desk handled it immediately and could not have been more professional, kind, and apologetic. He moved us to a new room right away, which was perfect. The continental breakfast was very nice, the staff were pleasant, and the main area was beautifully decorated. The location was also very convenient, close to the beach, restaurants, museums, and other attractions. We appreciated the excellent customer service and would definitely stay again.

From the outside the building is lovely. The reception staff change shifts often, so some were friendly and helpful, others were more preoccupied. Our room was mostly clean. There was some dust on the table and some of the lamps were not working. It had two airconditioners but one was too loud to use. Some of the towels were fraying and my mattress squeezed loudly.

Breakfast is self serve with choices that could be microwaved. There was fresh fruit, yogurt and juices. Beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. Unfortunately, they forgot to give me my VIP vouchers so if you are due VIP treatment make sure to ask about it!
