This was a lovely hotel. It's currently under renovations, so I am excited to see what it becomes. It's fairly simple with minimal amenities, but what you're really paying for is the amazing view an direct beach access. Every room overlooks the ocean and there is a staircase right down to the beach. Some aspects of the building are quite old, but again, it's undergoing a remodel at the moment. We loved our stay.

Under renovations so a little clunky but only real complaint is that the elevator was slow. Free salmon chowder at 5pm in the hotel lobby next door and cookies at 7. Window view was great, a little dirty but with the birds and renovation that’s probably unavoidable

The lobby is being renovated but other than that the room was great and had a really nice view. The staff was also very friendly. It’s walking distance from a lot of good restaurants & shops.

The view from the room was beautiful, even though we had heavy fog. You can see the lighthouse light to the south of the hotel. Right on the beach, too.

The staff was great. The walk to the sister hotel for coffee wasn’t so great. But the price was right, it was clean and they offer beach access. Once the remodel is completed I don’t think we will be able to afford it as it will be in the top tier accommodations offered by Choice. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

I liked the location. The hotel is under renovations. So keep that in mind. We received no room service. The room had no coffee maker. You couldn't see out the window to see the ocean because of the condensation between the glass panes. We will not stay there again.

The location was good with the beach right there, although it's freezing and windy. There was also a nice Nye district that was a nice spot to walk. The AC didn't work in the room, and the hotel feels abandoned as you have to check in next door at the Elizabeth. You are able to use the amenities at the Elizabeth, but you have to be let in to everything every time, plus make the outside walk back to your room when finished. No daily maid service, has to be requested 24 hrs in advance.nive sized spacious room, but missing a coffee maker and other things. The window was barely visible, but good at letting all the afternoon heat in with no AC and 2 tiny opening windows.

First off the beard man at the desk where we checked in at was #1! Dude was personable, respectful, courteous, and informative…next level good at his role. 2nd the water pressure in the shower was fantastic compared to several other places we’ve stayed at on the coast. 3rd was the location, it was on the water and had a great view! 4th was the parking…underneath the hotel…that was great! I didn’t have to worry about traffic on a busy street and it even had an awesome view of the ocean and beach. Throw in the close parking to the elevator and you have a win for me! 5th was the room! Comfy beds, clean, although a bit dated for some people, it was fine for us! Last but not least, ice machine on same floor worked flawlessly! For what we paid on short notice…less than 200 a night for ocean front view I was extremely happy! Thank you again bearded man at the check in desk!

The room was clean next line. The beach view was perfect except there was seagull poop all over the window. We requested another room and we were able to move and the window was fairly clean. So we got a good view of the ocean. This was the fourth story so hard to keep windows up that high clean, I guess.

Beautiful view from the room. However, the heat was wonky, it was hard to get the room warm and it was cold at the beach when I stayed there. The shower was awful, hard to get hot water, I thought I might lose the handle because it was so loose. There was not coffee maker or tea in the room, you had to go next door to the Elizabeth street Inn if you wanted anything. I guess you get what you paid for since it was less expensive than the Elizabeth Inn but still for over $200.00 a night I expected better.

The property is under maintenance and getting remodeled. They are handling staying open to the best of their ability. The property allows for animals so there is a distinct cat smell as you walk down some hallways. The location is great and perfect for kids that enjoy the beach.

They served breakfast and at 5pm they served salmon chowder and at 7pm they served hot baked cookies.the staff was helpful and friendly the rooms all had a view of the ocean and they had a stairway leading down to the beach. The rooms were clean and the parking was below the hotel
