“We stayed for a night for a birthday celebration. On arrival, the receptionist had informed us that we received a free upgrade on our room! The room was lovely. Lovely decor, felt cosy and very comfortable. The fridge had milk in for our use and a couple of breakfast bits which were complimentary. The reception staff also informed us that we could get free bread & eggs to make in our room for breakfast, we just needed to help ourselves. The bed was also very comfortable. “Beautiful property and landscaping. Really kind staff, hard-working, but slow service. Which is fine if you are up for a long relaxed meal. Probably a little understaffed.. Everyone worked very hard. Room was very nice but a little dated the bed was slightly soft for my comfort but very rich and historic site. ”
