The best Best Western I've ever stayed at in all sense of the word. Very clean, very hospitable, very nice restaurant area and food, and of course lovely people. If you need a place to stay for the night and into the next day id recommend this place. Especially if youre in a pinch and cant get back home immediately.

Great location. Nice and helpful staff. Very good restaurant and room service available. The rooms are a bit utilitarian, but they actually have everything that you need and are very comfortable. The location right off of High Street is excellent and helps make this hotel very good value for the money.

A good seventies style stay

AThis hotel is a real throw back to the seventies. Comfortable but functional rather luxurious. The lounge/bar decor and exterior is straight out of the seventies. Air conditioning, that worked! Was a plus. Service was great and probably the best breakfast Ive had in a long time

Lovely short stay

Really enjoyed our one night stay. The lady on reception was nice and helpful. We only had a standard room, but it was adequate for our needs. Bed and pillows comfortable; ample tea, coffee and biscuits; bathroom was a good size with a bath and shower, plenty of shampoo and body wash etc. Breakfast the next day was very good, fruit juices, cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit, cheese and meats, toast and then a choice of what you wanted cooked, which was done fresh and not as a buffet. Staff at breakfast were also very nice. On site parking and a 5 minute walk in to town where there are plenty of bars and restaurants. Very nice and will definitely return. Thank you.

not great but was friendly.

bedroom small, window faced out to a corridor so had to keep certain closed for privacy in the room so no daylight. Pillows very hard, bed old and back board banged against wall as it was very lose when i tried to move round in bed. Generator running all night, walls very thin so could here every noise, didn't get much sleep. Staff are friendly though and room was clean :-)

The room was very cold, all the heating had been turned off. The corridors were a cheap remake of Ice Station Zebra and were unlit when we arrived so we had to use a torch. We moved rooms to try to get something warmer but this too was cold when we arrived. Eventually it warmed up a bit but we had a fan heater on the whole night. Also, we couldn’t get the kettle to work but this turned out to be a faulty plug socket. Overall extremely disappointing to put it mildly.
