Room was clean and comfortable, staff were courteous. We had a problem with the lock on the outside door and struggled to get into the hotel when we returned. There was no one to contact if we had been unable to open the door
Fairly central to surrounding shops & bars. Free parking. Very friendly & helpful. A large, spacious room with plenty of draws & hanging space. The Hotel as a whole was very clean.

clean and convient ..plenty of parking space. Ideal for just a good bedroom sole manager very helpfull
Great hosts & lovely accommodation in thr centre of the beautiful town of Corbridge. Great bedroom with a large bed, that give us a great night's sleep. Fantastic breakfast with continental & cooked options, would highly recommend this hotel.
Property has been refurbished recently. Very clean and rooms were lovely. A shame no breakfast available for whatever reason but places to eat on the doorstep.
We (Myself and my other half) enjoyed a one night stay last weekend.Ended up needing a really late check in, after the pub was closed. The manager was great, met us at the door and showed us straight to our room. The room was large with a four poster bed. The bed was really comfortable. I would stay there again, and would recomend it to friends

Liked: Cleanliness, room comfort
The room was ok, but rather dated. The bed was comfortable. We were in room 6, which had a bath, but the shower head had to be held as there was no bracket on the wall, and no shower curtain was provided. This meant that taking a shower was rather difficult, and the bathroom floor got very wet. The pub is very quiet and closed early on the two nights we were there.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
We stayed at the wheatsheaf for one night, the wheatsheaf is clean and decorated to a standard id expect to see in pubs these days, the room was clean although a few things were a little dated but its an old building so was expected, id also like to see maybe some biscuits on the tea trays aswell. The downside of the room tho and from the layout of the upstairs think all the rooms will have this issue is the amount of lorries and traffic all night which stopped us from opening window as was warm during night. Breakfast was lovely and hot, and plenty choice. I paid 125 for the night which i think is a little pricey, id expect a little more for the money. All in all a nice place nice staff just a few things would make it better
We were made to feel welcome on entry. We arrived late but the manager asked the chef if she would make us a meal. Tasty good quality food.
The room was spotless, all the staff were welcoming and helpful. We will come back for our next stay in Corbridge,
Nice pub/ hotel in lovely village of Corbridge.
Dealt with one staff member from arrival who was acting as front of house for the accommodation, barman and waiter, very friendly and helpful in all his roles
Accommodation was excellent with comfy bed and large bath, ideal after a long day hiking.
Overall….would recommend 100%
