A clean, comfortable room and great, easy-going staff. I arrived very late after a long day getting lost walking the wall (after the kitchen closed and was shut) and the bartender was kind enough to put together a meal for me - very much appreciated when arriving in the dark partially covered in mud The beer they brew on site was also excellent.

Lovely pub and staying area next to it. We booked here as it’s a dog friendly place and enjoyed our stay. The team at the pub were brilliant, they were shutting the kitchen early as it was a quiet January Sunday (so totally understandable) but we managed to get an order in and the food was great.

Excellent stay, place is beautiful expect to pay bar prices for any crisp or drinks as it is located a stone throw from the pub but quite a walk from shops. Great place to stay!

The Keelman is in a lovely spot by the Tyne. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The refreshments were great and very well received after a long walk! Food at the pub was also very nice.
