Staff were helpful and polite. The room was clean, with an excellent view. But the bed was not very comfortable, and the heating was not brilliant. The fixtures and fittings were worn and dated. Breakfast was ok, but could do with a decent coffee machine as you would find in similar setups. So in short, a potentially lovely place that just needs investment to upgrade it.

Amazing position and views of the Tyne and the coast. We paid a little extra for sea views and spent hours enjoying them from our room. Very comfortable room and bed.
