The Lucky Hotel is a very cute, very clean hotel that’s excellently positioned. The highlight, though, is the truly outstanding service from the staff. Even though the air conditioning was broken in our room, I’d still be happy to stay again due the genuine and thoughtful efforts of the staff.

Fabulous place to stay in Newcastle. Clean, quirky, friendly staff, great food, fantastic location. Light rail stop is right outside the hotel, lots of restaurants nearby and Civic Theatre is a 10min walk down the road. We’ve stayed here a few times and love it.

Nice experience overall - great location, clean and modern rooms. Noise wasn’t bad even though it’s in a busy part of town. Only downside is that the showers don’t have a door so the water spreads easily into the rest of the bathroom even with a bathmat. Happy with my stay.

Elegantly cool. A truly lovely stay at this centrally located gem. The room was beautiful, with charming, quirky interiors that gave the hotel so much character.
