Yes the room was very clean, and most of the staff who we met were courteous. We also loved that it's peaceful, and that the beach was right at our disposal as we stepped out of the room. The only thing we would suggest are updated lamps, furniture, etc.(especially the bed that creaked and groaned from any movement).

Fantastic Adventure

Lovely stay and very affordable. The service was fantastic. Comfortable and large rooms. While I was there they had a little beach party with live music on the weekend. Great time. Highly recommend. Located right next to the water taxi to St. Kitts making exploring the sister island easy.

We really enjoyed our time here! Rooms were nice, loved the balcony/porches, beautiful view of the water, chairs available on the beach, nice bar/restaurant!! I would say not much is walkable, maybe a couple restaurants and water taxi dock are walkable, other restaurants, beaches, etc require transportation. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will be back!

The staff at this resort are wonderful. They take the time to learn your name and go out of their way to help. This relaxed beachside resort is all about the chill vibes. It's cute and has a decent and often lively restaurant, a bar area you can hang out in for hours, and comfortable loungers in shady spots under palm trees with a nice view. The private screened-in porches are a heavenly place to spend a quiet afternoon. Hits every note for a budget traveler.

Had a lovely stay. I was able to relax, reflect, release, and appreciate some personal time. I loved the screened-in porch (fabulous for days when it rains); David gave a FANTASTIC massage; Chef Ricky served a tasty chicken roti (the rum punch was DELICIOUS); the staff was kind and welcoming. The property isn't modern, but it meets your needs. If you want granite and luxury, stay elsewhere. This is truly quaint and familiar. I felt safe, respected, and a part of the family. The sweet goats roam the property at will, which is fine, except you have to watch where you're stepping. I was a magnet for the "sand fleas," so bring plenty of anti-itch cream if you're going to sit on a beach chair near the water. The wifi was good in my room, but not while relaxing on the porch (that's what books and naps are for! lol). I do hope they look to redo the bathrooms (they just need a refresh: new sink, countertop). It's a really peaceful place, and I would certainly stay there again. Thanks to the ENTIRE staff of Oualie for welcoming me and making me feel so at home.

Honestly, Oualie is not the most posh, most modern resort. It's even rather rundown. The accommodations are simple, humble and can do with some work but the sheets are clean (if you get where I'm coming from), the food is nice and staff are available, neighbourly and they work hard. What Oualie has is that natural tucked away, untouched, unspoilt beauty. The beach, the trees, the family of feisty monkeys chasing away a dog, the cat that respectfully greets you at dinner then goes back to his chair outside, the cow that nonchalantly sits in the shade. You have all the feels once you're on your porch or in one of the half dozen or so hammocks on the property. You are the sunset, couples walking along the beach. You feel for the first time, in a long time, that everything's going to work out and you're going to make it. The peace is what makes you figure out things that our harried lives make it so hard to fully understand. The sleep is like the sleep you used to have as a young child. Oualie makes you forget - yet remember all that you need to. I came here as a part of a series of surprises I secretly cooked up for my husband's birthday week. Our stay at Oualie was a part of my gift for him but what I didn't expect was that it would be so much of a gift for me. Oualie.🙌

I like staying at this place, but I wish they would replace the shower faucets. I was in room 210 and the faucet gave me hells to turn. When my wife went to shower, I had to help her turn on the shower faucet because it just won't turn easily. on top of that, the hot and cold function is all messed up. So, I would advise them to please go through the rooms and fix these small things. But apart from that it's a very nice place close to the beach and the water is epic.
