Beautiful location looking out over the beach with good facilities. The Queen bed was not good at all though. We were there on a monday night and had no dining options for cafes or restaurants. We ended up getting dinner at IGA which is ok, might just be our bad luck that places were closed on that day.

Loved being right on Stockton Beach and having cooking facilities in our cabin. Also, Lexies Cafe just a few cabins away was a lovely little cafe overlooking the beach. Didn't like the pillows on our bed and would have liked to have been able to see whether our cabin was a beachfront or not as this wasn't described in the booking.

It's good to have somewhere so close to Newcastle without the traffic and cost. Winds can be a problem so I can see why some people stayed back from the beach to get more sun and protection. WiFi should be faster as when it's full it will slow down more.

The cabin was very clean and fresh. Linens and towels new and white! Bed comfortable and everything we needed was in the kitchen. The park was close to the ferry which we used to get over to Newcastle , very cheap very fast and every ten twenty minutes. The park was large and the cabins were situated nicely. Ours was directly opposite the walk to the sand and beach. It would have been wonderful if the rain had not been pelting down! I liked the communication before and the information given when arriving. A very safe and secure park and the staff were lovely. I would have given "excellent" but I thought it was a little expensive, even though it was a great cabin it was not luxurious. The fact that it was fairly remote from the city by car is also an issue. The ferry was good but to get anywhere other than the dock area would have meant a bus or a car. A nice place to pull into with a caravan and sit for a few days but not a tourist spot.

The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly, and accommodated a late check-in with just a quick call to coordinate. The grounds were well-maintained and very quiet. The sounds of the waves on the beach were a great way to go to sleep!

Great location!

It was a great place to stay but my only concern was the cleanliness of the bathroom. I found lots of hairs on the walls and the floor of the bathroom. It was clear it hadn't been cleaned in a while. The rest of the cabin was clean and would happily stay there again with the family.

Quiet Escape

No hills in Stockton so great for walking and bike riding. Only 5 minutes and $2.60 by ferry to Newcastle but take note of the timetable, it as not as frequent as it might first appear. If you drive to Newcastle, watch out for parking times at Newcastle beach, they change from 4 hours to half an hour for no apparent reason (except maybe to rip off tourists).
