The apartment was a good size, in good condition and had all we needed. The only minor negative thing was that the TV in the living room did not work but it was not worth addressing for the one night. I would definitely stay again.

Property was well equipped with large living spaces. Bed was comfortable. Undesirable things such as the floors were absolutely filthy, power points that weren't secured to the wall properly and broken blinds that don't roll back up. Poor soundproofing between the floor above so got to enjoy the party upstairs nicely.

This is quite a modern set of apartments in a quiet (if rather run-down) area of Newcastle. The apartments are huge...very nice for spreading out! The only drawback was poor communication about entry to the apartments; the front desk never seems to be manned and on both occasions I stayed there a text with the entry codes failed to arrive, leading to multiple calls to their office to send it. Otherwise good value for money.

I have already complaint about this property but only response I got was sorry. There were cockroaches in the kitchen area and cupboards. Bed sheet were not changed from previous stay and hairs everywhere. Very unhygienic and unprofessional. Never staying there even for free.

Property is in a good location great value however the check in process is tedious and not required it makes you feel unwelcome from the gecko to be honest. They are more concerned with the breaking of rules photo ID and credit cards than service to the petrons whom are paying to stay there.

I have given mainly 4/5 as the property and check-in and out process was very good, with only a few things to note re: small details within apartment. The location of the apartment is superb. Less than 10min drive to city centre or the beautiful beaches and short walk to eatery! The small details which dripped the rating was that the shower head fixture in wnsuitee bathroom looked to be bent out of shape/broken and my Mum hit her head on it when trying to shower so we just used the other bathroom for our stay and the other small note was that some of the cupboard doors were missing a handle. Otherwise it was fine. If you like firm matress you may be disappointed at they had really soft mattresses.

The apartment itself was fine, however had not been cleaned properly. The floors were filthy, there were stains on doona covers, stains on tiles in bathrooms, scuff marks everywhere, crumbs/dirt on the lounge. Would have been fine if cleaned

Nothing the apartment was so dirty the rug was filthy the sheets had dirty stains on them! Very upset as we had both our toddlers with us, even the glasses and plates provided were all dirty not even wiped off, very very un happy about this place.

Check in was a joke ! There is no signage to say that the small key panel was related to the Hamilton apartments. It was on the middle of letter boxes. Once we managed to get through the front door after a phone call, there was no signage as to which floor the apartment was on just an arrow to the lift with all apartment numbers listed . If you are going to cut back by not bothering to employ any one on reception at least put up some signs .

i didnt like the fact that you had four different door codes to remember being elderly it was very hard to remember which number for which door the floors were tiles but were dirty and full of sand i had to sweep so we good walk on it with no shoes the tv did not work in the bedroom and there is no clear instructions in the room to let you know if and when the cleaners would come

The property it’s self is ok but I would not stay there again. The checkin process is via txt message and email it took 4 phone calls to get the correct access codes we ended up with 4 different codes for our stay 1 for the front door 1 for the car park 1 for the door leading from the car park to the lift and 1 for the apartment door. The bed configuration was not as requested and it took 3 phone calls to get this corrected on the last night of a 3 night stay. The washing machine leaked and flooded the floor they would not repair the leak until the following day and requested that we use our towels to mop up the water which meant we had no towels the following day for a shower.

Property is nice, good location, parking $20 p.n We departed a few hours after arrival as both TV's were not working, the toilet roll holder in the ensuite bathroom fell off the wall, loose floor tile in the hall way, loose powerpoint in the main bedroom, floor not clean and finger prints on tv's and glass table. Asked for a refund, was denied as they have a no refund policy, will take this to the NSW Department of Fair Trading. Spoke eventually to one of the "Managers" by the name of Tony, he said he was awere of the issues I raised however the no refund policy applies, he then hung up on me. Could be really nice but in this instance the property did not live up to expectations and the web advertised facilities were "NOT" available. "Do not stay there", customer service is non existent at this property.

Extremely unclean. Hair found all over the apartment, in the beds, on the carpets, the rugs and the floors. lots of food crumbs, dust and general debris just under the sofas and all around the windows. RUDE STAFF when checking in. Check-in procedure not easy if you don't have an Australian mobile number. NOT SECURE. Despite saying security is their main concern, this is simply not true! Front door to apartment block found open on multiple occasions and door from car park into apartment block also found to be left propped open on many occasions. The oven was unusable, it filled the apartment with acrid smoke when used and stunk the place out for the rest of our stay. Minimal kitchen utensils available. Tiny parking space due to most of the space being taken up by old washing machines & tumble dryers stacked up against the wall.

Unfortunately our stay at this property was not enjoyable. I don't know whether it's something about crime in the local area, break-ins or what, but the security aspects felt pretty over the top. Every communication contained a series of warnings about everything from their use of facial recognition software to dire threats around not holding parties on the premises. On entry there is a huge bank of screens in the foyer showing the angles of their many CCTV cameras. There were at least four separate PIN codes (room, front door, external garage, internal garage) to get access to different areas of the property. Given all this security we were disappointed to find that the parking spot we'd booked and paid for ($20 per night) was not available - there seem to be owners in the building as well and the garage is full of stuff. Whilst we were there we saw multiple cars competing for the one available spot. So notwithstanding all the security we ended up parking on the street down the block and having to carry all the bags for our family to and from the apartment. The apartment itself is clean, relatively new and modern, albeit the sofa bed was busted and two of the towel rails were broken off the walls. The whole vibe had a pretty sterile feel to it though which when combined with the OTT security made our kids feel a bit uneasy. This might be fine for some people, but we were hoping for 'homely' and got 'fortress.' Just be aware of this when booking and you'll be fine.
