Was actually supposed to be staying else where as was overbooked. Was offered to stay here. Lovely room with balcony view was looking out at the mountains. Food was lovely, prices for food & drink very reasonable. Breakfast lovely 🙂

The location was great as a base for the local attractions . The facilities were basic, shower looked great with nice products to use but the flow of water was poor and kept going hot and cold . The restaurant was average with mass produced food . Buffet breakfast had many options from porridge to full fry up Plenty of free parking . Some staff need further training when asked basic questions like the verity of ice cream flavours on offer the response was I'm not sure so I promoted her to go and ask . On reelection Laura redeemed my opinion on the staff as she was friendly and took my concerns to management . If your looking for a peaceful sleep be warned the rooms door slam shut and no one holds them to close therefore lots of banging doors which was very annoying . Tea and coffee facilities in room were welcomed , fan snd hairdryer. Plan your spa in advance snd if you want pool use without children plan early morning or after 6.30pm

Room was brilliant for our family with 3 kids. Staff were very friendly and went above and beyond when we asked for a fridge to keep the babies food chilled. Pool is amazing and hotel was very quiet so we all slept brilliantly. Would recommend to all!

This is a beautiful 4-star hotel. From the moment we entered the door and walked up to the reception desk to the moment we checked out, we had friendly, impeccable service. The room was spacious and beautiful. The restaurant for breakfast was lovely. We would definitely stay here again.

Brilliant for the family!

We stayed in the family room and it was brilliant! We had so much space even though there were 5 of us in it. The kids absolutely loved the bunk bed! The pool was great especially the baby pool as it was lovely and warm for the baby. Breakfast was super, and staff very friendly. Would highly recommend

There was always someone on the reception desk to help with any enquiries. The staff were all very helpful and understanding, and there was plenty of car parking spaces. It would be more than a ten minute walk to the town, but we had a lovely stress free time due to excellent accommodation. OH!!!! and the food was excellent.

Amazing

Our stay as a family of 4 (4yr & 5yr old) at the Burrendale was amazing from the outset. The welcome by hotel reception staff was the friendliest we hace received, the superior family rooms were great with the triple bunk configuration. Had gorgeous meal that night, and lovely breakfast the next morning, with the kids being SO excited about the pancake making machine, brilliant. We literally spent hours in the pool, again friendly staff and clean changing rooms. Pool temperature great for kids, and the baby pool was effectively a childs hottub- so hot and bubbles!!! Overall amazing stay, just wish it had been longer.

Short break

Hotel was very comfortable, the rooms had been modernised and it was very clean with walk in showers and comfy beds, fresh carpets. USB ports by the beds, basic tea/coffee. No fridge but this can be requested. No bathrobes but again once requested they were sent to room. The breakfast did lack a selection of fresh fruit to choose from and had a small range of bread, the hot items were only luke warm. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. The pool was lovely with a big hot tub but big lack of seating or loungers to relax on in between dips. The gym was very big with plenty of equipment. Some items were showing signs of wear and needed replaced or repair. Overall we had a good stay. A comfortable place with good dining and music entertainment in the evenings. There was an outdoor area but it wasn’t set up as still chilly.
