“It's a lovely place, with excellent staff. The room was great and the breakfast was plenty. It's in a beautiful location”

“The room was lovely though the walls were a bit thin and I could hear the neighbours TV. The floors of the upstairs rooms were a bit squeaky but it was a fairly rustic building so to be expected. The staff were excellent and very helpful. The kitchens were out of order but they provided a superb continental breakfast.”

“On arrival all staff were most helpful. The room was excellent as was the food we had. An excellent break and will stay again.”

“The bed was very comfortable, my room did not face the main road so was nice and quiet. The room was basic but ok for a short stay; the TV worked, there was some storage space and the shower was hot if needed. There was no kettle etc and it would have been nice to have a fan at least because it was incredibly hot in the room (I stayed when temperatures were above 25 degrees).”

“The host was very welcoming and immediately made me feel at home. Breakfast had lots of choices for different appetites. My room was lovely with a fan for the heat, plenty of tea, coffee, etc. and a powerful shower. All in all a great place to visit.”
