the room was perfect for the night and maybe a few i probably wouldn’t recommend for multiple people for over a week just cause the rooms were very small, a lot of the bathrooms were crossed and not flushed or cleaned properly so i do wish those were cleaned a little more often/ even checked, but the location was perfect walking distance to just about everything and i would stay here again!

Everything was excellent The customer service the cleanliness the location and everything except when I checked in they told me that I have to pay extra money for property fees I paid them but I don’t know why should I pay as long as It was supposed that I paid everything in advance through the app Other wise again the staff the service the cleanliness the safety and any other thing were perfect

Only positive is the location, which is amazing. However, the room was awful. There were cockroaches and bedbugs. The bathrooms were filthy. There was no hot water. The bathroom on my floor was out of commission for most of one day.

You can't beat the location and price. If you don't need a fancy place and are OK with shared bathrooms, I think this is a perfect spot. The gym is also a great bonus. Visiting NYC, I'm not there for the hotel. It's just to sleep and shower and I think this is a great option. Central Park West also is an ideal location. Next to transit, Columbus Circle and Lincoln Center. 2-3 stops from most of the shows too. I'm likely to stay here every time I visit solo.

The rooms are fine. There could definitely be more restrooms. Restroom locks can be tricky. Most staff were great. One housekeeper was yelling at me and very rude for no reason. Location is wonderful on the upper westside.

This is an amazing YMCA. It’s located next to everything and especially if you’re on a single trip this is where you wanna stay and see the city. Between this and public transit, New York has Affordable. Spend the money on something else not room and Ubers

If you don’t plan to spend much time in your room, this is the cheapest deal you can find. Proximity to Central Park and Columbus Circle subway station was ideal. Wish the bathrooms were cleaned maintained better.

The property is conveniently located near Columbus Circle and Lincoln Center. The door to 1011 closed readily. The inside looks worked well. The window was open a few inches. I closed the window. Although I turned the AC to max cool and the fan to max, only the fan blew. There was no AC. There were several plastic coat hangers in the closet. The battery for the safe did not work. There was a bunk bed in the room. There were electric outlets with two receptacles on the walls near the window. There was a monitor and a lamp. I did not use either. The shower near the hallway in the men's room had a hose that did not fit on the support. There was no soap dispenser in the shower near the hallway. Water was hot. Although I saw cleaning equipment in the hallway, the showers, toilets, and sinks in the men's room were not cleaned.

Best location of any hotel in Manhattan! Single-occupancy bathrooms/showers on 12th floor are worth trying to book a room on the 12th floor. (Or maybe all the restrooms have been renovated now). I wish there was an outlet near the bed, though.

Great location and having access to the Y's full gym and pool is fantastic. The accommodations are dorm-like, but definitely better than hostel with private bedrooms with a mini fridge and individual shared bathrooms rather than a multi-stall public bathroom. I felt safe, and it was very quiet. Overall, it's not as comfortable as a traditional hotel, but the gym, location, and value make it an excellent option for someone traveling on a budget.
