I have to state that there was a bit of confusion at the Wingate on my behalf,and I’m grateful to the staff that took my word and believed that I was not trying to be deceitful If I had to rate this hotel I would have to say that it was excellent! Our 5 day stay was great. We loved all of the friendly, hard-working staff who helped us with many small requests. Beds comfortable, rooms so clean, hotel very secure and safes in rooms. The indoor attached valet parking was very convenient. Breakfasts are simple, so bring your own fruit or bagel toppings if you like those things. We also enjoyed a nearby restaurant for dinner.

I appreciated the breakfast options, and the staff was the best thing about the hotel as they were friendly and helpful. Returning to my old neighborhood near Brook Avenue, 3rd Ave., and 138th St. was memorable. The hotel where I stayed had Rosa’s at Park where the ambiance at the venue was superb —the food truly outstanding. The atmosphere was lively, filled with happy patrons, creating a real sense of community. When I realized that it was Rosa behind the bar it was the next day. For sure I will be back and get me a selfie with Rosa…hopefully. Rosa’s at Park represents the new way in which we enjoy hotel entertainment and fine dining right here in the Bronx. Old school meets hotel swank!!!
