Nice hotel, very good location (for Downtown). Mixed in terms of the friendliness of the staff but think that’s a New York thing.. Good quality room service food, however some small annoyances like having to call back and wait 20 mins for cutlery!

Excellent hotel, best I’ve stayed in New York Great customer service , travelled with a 7months old baby Bianca at reception was super kind and helpful , accommodated us in a great room in than 10 min of arrival and everything got ready within 15min or so . Great hotel. Great staff. The room was amazing but the area around the hotel was questionable. Our room was overlooking a construction area with homeless people around; not the type of view one would expect from a five star hotel. In addition, I am not sure what was VIP about our stay: i wasn't able to get the room upgrade i requested; we did get any additional amenities: it would be great to know what we were supposed to get as VIP because we are very curious.

The quality of the room was superb - well furnished and equipped with lovely Le Labo bath products and a very well-stocked and reasonable (for NYC) bar and snacks. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The location is quiet considering how central it is. Great for ferry to Brooklyn, exploring Downtown, and connections uptown. I'd definitely stay again.

This hotel is a gem. We stayed here 4 nights and everything was perfect. The room is lovely beds are super comfy all personnel is super helpful. I was traveling with my 90 year old mom in a wheelchair and everybody went out of their way to help us. I will definitely come back again.
