The rooms are small, but if you just want a cheaper hotel for midtown, this hotel will do. It was clean and the location is good. This hotel is great if you just need a place to sleep.

Comfortable room

The room was big comparing to other NYC hotels. It had two queen beds and a big window. The bathroom was also spacious with and plenty toiletries.

My return to The Paul was great

Dependable, clean, and smooth lodging. Filthy windows (outside) were unfortunate, but the stay was clean and nice. Also, bottled water in the rooms would smart. It’s standard everywhere.

Room was comfortable and clean. They only thing is that the windows were so dirty from the outside it was hard to see out of them. Get a window washer!!!!!!!!

Too small room. I paid for a queen bed for me and my boyfriend they gave us a room with 2 twin bed plus the are very comfortable bed. Terrible experiences,never again..

Unreliable - no room - had to cancel

They could not provide me with the room i booked. They “upgraded” me but said i may have to change rooms the next day. I was forced to cancel luckily there were other hotels available. Paul hotel is not reliable.

Staff member Journey was excellent and professional. The Hotel was ok, rooms are way too small. No amenities whatsoever, room 403 a/c was not working properly despise "engineering personal" taking a look at it "just that", in the End after being firm about my decision they gave me a new room. Other than that I gave them 5 / 10.

Hotel cancelled my booking and became impossible to contact to arrange alternative. I stayed in Made hotel nearby, and in passing, had a look. Entire hotel had been booked out for a military event, and not "refurbishment" as they had said in their email. Absolutely dreadful, complete lack of honesty and service, and a place I will make a point of telling people to avoid.

This hotel was okay, nothing special but nothing terrible. Beds were fine. Tiny room and bathroom. Our ac was not working, nor was our tv remote, and within minutes of calling, they came and fixed everything. Everything was a bit cheap. Our ice bucket leaked, our ironing board needed to be replaced and we had to battle with the window shades. But, it was okay.

The hotel was okay at best. Room was facing an internal alleyway and was not the cleanest. Floors were not vacuumed and few areas around the room were damaged from wear/tear. One of the towels was visibly stained and ripped. Expected a bit better of an experience, even for a three star hotel.

Overall, A Good Stay

The Paul Hotel was clean and had the basics that we needed for our trip. We had to ask for extra towels twice for the number of people booked in the room. The room was tight, but we didn't need much extra space. The front desk phone is not answered at all. I called prior to arriving for 3 hours and again from my room: it rolls to a full voice mail. A great service that they did offer was keeping our bags prior to check-in and offered to keep them after check-out for a 6 hour period. This is a wonderful asset when visiting NYC.

I like the convince of being close to MSG and Broadway. I didn’t like the fact the AC wasn’t the best. My tv didn’t work and the technician never came back to fix the tv after I reported it not working the day I checked in. It was a room and bed to sleep in so can’t complain. But for the price it could have been better amenities. The bar wasn’t even setup or functional.
