We were visiting our children and The Ludlow is conveniently located between the two of them. I loved the look of the hotel and the lobby and staff are great. We ate dinner the first night at the hotel bar/lobby. Food, drinks and atmosphere was fantastic. We also had breakfast the next morning and it was very good. My only complaint is the room felt small compared to other hotels of the same caliber. I had upgraded to a suite as i like to have more space. The room decor is beautiful but I prefer a larger room and the hotel does not have a 1 bedroom version of this size. However, the location of hotel and the amenities are wonderful.

Superb hotel with excellent, friendly, helpful staff, larger-than-average room size, nice bar, decent restaurant. Great location on the Lower East side with subway access 5 minutes away. We had a fabulous stay that was extended due to the snowstorm and wouldn't have wanted to be stranded anywhere else!

Everything about this property was a pleasant surprise. The location is a 10 out of 10! My room was small, but the view and the bathroom were large; space in the right places. Perfect hotel for a busy person. At the end of the day, I enjoyed a well made drink by the lobby fireplace, and had some of the best fries in New York City. I highly recommend.
